The Evil Evil Contest is HERE!!! (And I aint kidding about the evil part!)

Hey everyone. *Innocent smile* Now, didn't I promise you a wonderful contest? Of course, those of you who know me know just how...umm...delightful my contests can be! What??? It'll be fun! I swear! And the number one prize...oh it is oh so worth it. One shiny new ARC six months in advance of the story of one BIG BEAUTIFUL BLONDE WARRIOR!

Yep. ELIJAH, my dears.

And I must say this is one of my very favorite tales in my series.

This is the prize of contest number one.

Yep. That's what I said. Contest number one. Because in actuality I am running two contests. The prize for the second contest is a $25.00 gift certificate to a beautiful jewelry store called Serene Dreaming.

If you click on the name or the banner you can cruise the site a bit and see just how gorgeous these one of a kind pieces are. By far this is a wonderful prize and I want to thank Serena, the owner of Serene Dreaming, for helping me come up with it. I gave away two of her bracelets at RT Houston in my author basket and they were truly lovely. And you should remember her store and her name because Serena and I are cooking up something very enticing to celebrate the release of Elijah in January!
Now, I'll shut up already and start the contest.
In order to win the ARC of Elijah...
I am going to list a number of quotes from the pages of both JACOB and GIDEON. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to locate the quotes in their respective books and give me a list of the book and the PAGE NUMBERS they can be found on!
Example Quote: "Never," he rasped, the word falling from him on hot, rapid breaths. "Do you hear me, Bella? Never will any other man be allowed to touch you."
Example Answer: Jacob - Page 177
So, list each number of each quote, then beside that number write the book it is from and the page number it is from. You must get them ALL right in order to make the drawing for Elijah!
Here are your quotes! GOOD LUCK! (yeah hate me.)
#1. Jacob went very, very still. Something extremely important was swimming on the outside of his awareness, but he was deeply consumed with his need for her, instincts created at the birth of the Earth chaining him to his course.
#2. "You are a child! A child! I am stronger than this. I will not give in to this ridiculous impulse to madness. I refuse!"
#3. Sweet Destiny, you would think a Queen could afford the entire dress.
#4. "Come one step closer and I'll bash his tiny brain in," Isabella warned.
#5. She paused, her eyes scouting ahead of her touch, and nibbled on her lower lip as she considered whether or not to continue her secret tour of him.
#6. “Spawn, am I? Straight from hell, yes?” she hissed viciously, a resonating, animalistic sound trebling out of her. The rush of her returned power made her giddy, just as the sharp influence of the moon encouraged her wildly. Her predator’s gaze pushed past lens and retina, driving through the tunnel of black pupil as she thrust herself into the necromancer’s mind. “See, sorceress. See yourself in hell.”
#7. "Have a nice sex change, you son of a bitch."
#8. And then she closed her eyes, a tremor shivering up her curving spine as she touched her mouth to his, and finally said his name.

#9. "You know, I think you better go out there and enforce some of my laws before I begin to think of how many ways I can set your ass on fire."
#10. In an instant Gideon went from being in control of a neutral examination to an internal thermonuclear flash-point of arousal that literally took his breath away.
BONUS QUOTE: You don't have to answer this one, but if you do I will send you an ELIJAH bookmark and the new never-before-seen keychain with your beautiful new ARC! Possibly more!
#11. “I am surprised you are not beating the hell out of me,” he observed.
“I’m still waking up. I’ll kick your ass later."
There! Now isn't that easy??
*ducks to avoid flying objects*
Well, what did you expect from ME?? So here you go. Write the answers 1 thru 10 (or 11) in an email exactly like in the example. Put the title EVIL CONTEST in the SUBJECT line of the email and send it to ! All answers must be perfectly correct for you to make it into the drawing. You have exactly ONE WEEK from today to do this! The contest ends midnight JULY 8th! That means 12:01 JULY 8th is TOO LATE and you will be disqualified.

Now...for the second contest. For the prize of a fabu gift certificate of $25.00 for you to spend at Serene Dreaming.

Well, ...oh all right...I will be kind and benevolent. Heh. This one is easy. It will be SERENE you could say. All you have to do is tell my YOUR favorite line from either Jacob or Gideon (none of the above allowed!) Just one quote. But you better get it right, because I will be checking! Then you send me a separate email with SERENE CONTEST in the SUBJECT line and send it off to me, once again, at! This contest ends the same time as the first does.

See now that isn't so it?

*crickets chirping*

Well there it is at last, in all its gloriousness...a shiny new white box at the bottom of the page.

I am so pleased. And I have Crystal from the infamous to thank for it. She very kindly helped me out with this.

Now all i need is for all my adorable friends and fans to start signing up!

Then, I hope, I will learn how to trigger the send off lol. I am going to go play with it right now!

Once I am satisfied that this works I will post the contest. I swear!

Oh and this is my pic of the week.

Gives a whole new meaning to my sign off now don't it? ;)

So here it is...

5 AM. Here I am awake AGAIN at the wrong time of the day or night...I meant to do well today, to take my pills and all. But I fell asleep around four pm and woke around 1 am and it just seemed WRONG to take a sleeping pill and sit here trying to sleep again.

Anyway, this is kind of a test to see if the sign ups and automatic notifications are working. I hope that they are. Let me know okay? I want everyone on board when I post the contest. I am working very very very (yeah right) hard on it! It's true. Between reading a manuscript, reading other reading, playing dorky time-wasting games (Oberon media is the curse of my existance), writing my new story, taking care of B and scratching my back (damned tattoo), I have come up with a perfectly devilish contest. And oh...I do promise will hate me for it. Muhahahaha!!

But remember, I give good prize!

Eliiiiijah. EEEEEliiiiijah!

Oh! And Stella and I started working on the new T-shirts! They are cute and dorky and you will buy them like lemmings running off a cliff. Heh. least I hope so. Everyone is bound to have a favorite. Right? Oh, and I REFUSE...simply REFUSE to offer white unless you beg me incessantly. You know as well as I do that white lasts until your first plate of spaghetti, an accidental baby spit-up or you DH 'accidentally' flinging paint across the other man's name you are wearing on your chest...and then that's it. Of course, I COULD offer white...and you'd ruin it and have to buy another. This is fiscally sound for me. However, I am sorry to say BLACK is the color of choice. BLACK, Lila...BLACK.

So let me know if you get notice of the blog post. Then we will work on setting up the contest rules, regs, and sweat-promoting labor of love.

Hugs and kitties,

Omigosh! I have BLOG!! Isn't it awesome? Isn't it fab?? Aren't we all thrilled?? Okay so maybe it's just me. But you will all be thrilled after my next posting. To celebrate the utter and complete return of all former board functions I am having one of my awesome and fantabulous contests!!

Isn't that great news? The not so great news? Well, if you know my contests, it isn't going to be pretty. No. There will be trivia victims strewn all about. And this time I have two whole books to work with! *wicked laughter rolls out*

And why, you ask, is this worth your time? The prizes of course. *produces and loving fondles an ARC of Elijah* Yes....yes my pretties...the blonde warrior himself. Six months early.

But that's not all!!! Elijah is only one of two...count them TWO prizes. The other prize is a $25 gift certificate to Serene Dreaming! My wonderful friend Serena who is an awesome jewelry designer and all around fabulous human runs this site and her stuff is gorgeous. Don't believe me? Take a look! You'll see how easy it is to find drool worthy stuff here and how far 25 bux worth of stuff can really go!

Now, I AM working on a third prize. I don't know what it is yet. I am shamelessly bribing Lora Leigh with and ARC of my book (she's an ARC junkie) in hopes she will cough up something really good. It's probably rude of me to say something before she commits to it, but hey...a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

Oh Loooooora......I have an ARC for yooooooouuuuuuu!

So sign up for my blog! Look, now it automatically tells you when I have posted my latest information, rant, bitchfest, human drama, joke, and general dorkiness! Now I don't have to run around like the town crier going I BLOGGED! Go read it! Go! Scamper! Quickly! Please?

Of course, that means my editor will now be able to get automatic notice of everything, too. Poor thing. I am sure I will say things that'll have her downing bottles of Tums. Don't worry, Kate! I will try to umm...behave like a normal human! There. How's that? Think she'll find that comforting in any way, shape, or form?

Oh hey! I have a new WIP! I need one of those cool little WIP counters. Then again, maybe not. That thing will end up staring me in the face showing me just how much work I am NOT getting done. Bianca gets out of school Friday for the summer (and today and tomorrow are only half days) and the odds of me getting any writing done are about to go out the window! Until we hit the Bay of Fundy and our Nova Scotia vacation, all I am gonna get is that little blonde head tilt, the EYES (all you moms know what I mean), and the inevitable whine "I'm boooored!"

Ah, the joy of children.

But I do have a new WIP. It is non-Nightwalker, which was unexpected. (Not to fear, I am also working on Book Five now that Book Four is in Kate's hot little hands.) I have no idea where this new piece is going or how long it's going to be, but I like it so far. It's kinda...umm...weird...but in a good way. I think. Heh.

My new Fan Club President, Miss Amy, is working her keister off with me to help me gather together the merchandise we'll be offering on my merchandising page which will be officially called "Jacquelyn's Boutique!" Doesn't that sound lovely? It sounds so French! Not that I am French or just sounds French.

Once we get that part of the website up and running we will concoct ideas for the fan club itself. What it entails, blah blah blah.

Oh so much to tell and so little time. I have blog withdrawal. But I also have shower withdrawal and this is a bad thing. Very bad thing. So I must be going now. See you soon with the details of the contest! Stay tuned!
